FARM FRESH, FLAVORFUL, HAND-PRESSED.
At Huerta, every taco starts with just-picked ingredients, handmade tortillas, and a commitment to authentic Mexican flavors.
Huerta Taco Stand
A FARM-DRIVEN TACO STAND
Huerta is a farm-driven taco stand helmed by Chef Lety Gonzalez— a veteran of San Diego’s culinary scene, known for her cult-favorite pop-up, Brujas Cocina. Now at Fox Point Farms, she channels her signature south-of-the-border flavors into an open-air taqueria, reimagining street food staples through the lens of sustainability and seasonality. True to its name, meaning "vegetable garden" in Spanish, Huerta sources ingredients directly from Fox Point’s regenerative fields mere steps away. Tacos are served on hand-pressed corn tortillas infused with sunflower petals, with standouts such as the Papas Mineras and the Cauliflower taco.
Tacos, the Way They Should Be
Fresh ingredients and bold flavors—at Huerta, every taco is made from scratch with care. Grilled local meats, freshly caught fish, and produce from our regenerative fields come together in a menu that honors tradition while embracing the abundance of the farm.

From Farm to Tortilla
True to its name—Spanish for “vegetable garden”—Huerta is rooted in the land. Just-picked ingredients, sourced steps away, bring the brightest seasonal flavors to every taco. Served on corn tortillas made moments before they reach you, each bite is a true farm-to-table experience.

Street Food with a Story
Every dish at Huerta is a reflection of what’s thriving in our circular micro-economy. Our beer batter is crafted with Fox Point Brewing’s small-batch brews, ensuring that even the bubbles in our crispest tacos have a local story to tell. Here, the farm and kitchen exist in harmony—where food is grown, harvested, and transformed just steps from where you enjoy it.
