Haven is led by a seasoned team. Culinary Director Alex Carballo brings over 20 years of mentorship and culinary experience to his overarching role at Fox Point Farms, having led many of the region’s top destinations including Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens and more. Barbados-born Chef de Cuisine Kelston Moore (St. Regis Deer Valley Resort alum, Food Network’s Chopped) is a U.S. military veteran and co-founder of the Bad Boyz of Culinary non-profit, which supports Black chefs through mentorships and scholarships. General Manager and Beverage Director, Ricardo Zarate Jr. (Valentina, 1500 Ocean Hotel Del Coronado) is a certified sommelier with more than a decade of industry experience and a strong affinity for natural wines. At Haven, his thoughtfully curated wine list gives precedence to organic and biodynamic wines from both local vintners and heritage producers around the world, while a deep appreciation for the iconoclasts guides a compelling lineup of cocktails and spirits.
